Breads

The taste of fresh breads, made from scratch and by hand. We bring you the old fashion home-made taste your grandmother used to make. Fresh pita, bagels, rye breads, pumpernickel, buns and more.

Pastries & Treats

Just good old fashion Jewish baking the way mom makes it. Pies with fresh apples, Danish dripping with cinnamon and brown sugar, rollie polly stuffed full of poppy seed, brownies so moist and chocolatey they are addictive, soft and chewy cookies.

Prepared Foods

With the addition of our dairy free catering and new prepared meats and ready to serve meals, we can virtually make you anything you need. We can provide a wide selection of food for 1 person or 100 people, for personal, family, or corporate needs.

Designer Cakes

From simple loaf cakes to elaborate birthday and celebration cakes, we make them fresh with the best ingredients like dutch chocolate cocoa, and fudge icings. All 100% nut and dairy free.

Absolutely everything in our store is nut and dairy free. We are also able to make egg free products. Please keep in mind that our egg free products, while every effort is made to ensure the product does not come into contact with eggs, eggs are used on the premises and therefore cannot be guaranteed.

Barel's Bakery is under parve kosher supervision by Calgary Kosher (CK). This kosher certification ensures that anybody, no matter their level of kosher needs, will eat the food made at Barel’s Bakery.

All meat products are pre-packaged under BCK.

Our bakery uses no preservatives so please ensure that you use your product right away or put it directly in the freezer.
